Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is eyeing a £10 million move for Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot, according to reports.
The 21-year-old – who can play at either right-back or left-back – has struggled to make a discernible impact since joining from Porto for £19 million in 2018.
With the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the emergence of wonderkid Brandon Williams this season, Dalot has been reduced to just 11 appearances across all competitions.
According to the Daily Star, Ancelotti is keen on the Portuguese defender and believes he could be lured away from Old Trafford for around £10 million.
After leading the Toffees to a 12th-placed finish in the Premier League this season, the veteran Italian boss knows he needs to improve his squad this summer.
Full-back is one of the areas of concern with Leighton Baines retiring and Seamus Coleman turning 32 later this year.
The report states that Dalot acknowledges he may have to leave United to secure regular football with the strong competition in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s defence.
The right-back was absent from United’s 2-1 win over LASK on Wednesday night due to injury.
Solskjaer’s side secured their place in the last eight of the Europa League, where they will face FC Copenhagen.
