BTS have announced the release date of their anticipated new movie Break The Silence, and it’s heading to cinemas a lot sooner than expected.
Break The Silence is the K-pop group’s fourth movie and will document the past whirlwind year, which included their first international stadium tour.
It’s been described as the ‘untold story of BTS’ and will arrive in cinemas around the world on September 10. The film will open with limited screenings in various territories worldwide, before more are released in additional territories from September 24.
The official Break The Silence movie poster features the silhouette of each seven BTS members – RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook and V – with their hands in the air as they perform on stage in a purple haze.
The concert movie will travel with BTS throughout the show-stoppning tour, exploring each band member behind the curtain. Off stage, fans will get to see another side of BTS as the band begin to candidly tell personal stories they have never voiced before.
It will follow 2019’s record-breaking release of Bring The Soul: The Movie, which reached a box office of $24.3 million and saw 2.55 million tickets sold across 112 territories around the world.
In addition, last year’s Bring The Soul: The Movie will be returning to theaters around the world for a limited engagement on August 28, August 29 and August 30. Fans in theaters will also be treated to an exclusive sneak peek from the latest film.
Tickets for Break The Silence: The Movie will be on sale from the official film website from Thursday, August 13.
Before then, the Boy With Luv singers are preparing for their first ever performance at the MTV Video Music Awards later this month, where they’ll perform their brand new single Dynamite.
The Dynamite promotion schedule also revealed the Bangtan Boys will be interviewed on MTV Fresh Out Live and NBC Today.
August and now September will be all about BTS and we’re ready for it.
