Safe to say 2020 has been a strange year – and here’s the latest head scratcher.
Enzo Amore has teamed up with OnlyFans to launch a new online wrestling school.
The former WWE and NXT superstar – who was best known for his tag team with partner Big Cass – was known more for his wisecracking deliver on the mic than his in-ring skills, but he’s ready to pass on his knowledge to the next generation.
The online subscription platform – which is popular in the adult entertainment industry but hosts content creators from a number of genres including fitness experts – revealed its collaboration on Twitter.
‘Please join us in giving a big OnlyFans welcome to Pro-Wrestler, Enzo Amore, @real1,’ the company tweeted this week. ‘Time to buckle up and learn things that can’t be taught. Join the “realest champ in the room” with his exclusive wrestling school over on OnlyFans.’
In the introductory pinned post on his page, Enzo – whose real name is Eric Arndt – promised ‘a truly eye opening experience for any aspiring pro wrestler’.
‘How you doin?! I’m @real1 – nZo – (fka Enzo Amore,) and I’m so looking forward to getting to know all my REAL fans right here on Only Fans,’ he said. ‘Thank you so much for all the support!
‘I guarantee this pro wrestling tutorial series: “You Can’t Teach That Inc.” will be a truly eye opening experience for any aspiring pro wrestler!
‘You’ll truly learn things that can’t be taught thanks for allowing me the chance to give back, enjoy, & that’s Amore! (sic)’
Enzo became popular with WWE fans thanks to his catchphrases – ‘Realest guys in the room’, ‘You can’t teach that’ and ‘How you doin’?’ – but never captured any tag team gold with Cass.
However, he did become a two-time Cruiserweight Champion on the 205 Live brand during his six-year spell with the company, which came to an end in January 2018 after a sexual assault allegation was made on social media.
Enzo ‘fully and unequivocally’ denied the allegations, and in May of the same year the Phoenix Police Department ceased their investigation due to insufficient evidence and no charges were ever filed.
